All ages are welcome to participate in the library's Winter Reading Program. Stop in the library to pick up a card to track your reading. Each time you check out books, movies, magazines, and more you will get a hole punch on your card. Once the card has five punches, turn it in for a chance to win one of our Winter Reading prize baskets. This program ends Monday, March 20, 2023.

Celebrate with us and other fans of Colleen Hoover at the library all month long! Place holds on her books, vote on the best book she's written, and participate in other fun activities every week.

East Palestine Library's newsletter for December 2022, January 2023, and February 2023 is now available.
Throughout December, live music will be presented in the library.
On Monday, December 5 at 6:00 PM, guitarist Tyler Guerrieri will perform instrumental classic Christmas music. All ages are welcome to attend.
The Steel Valley Ukers return to East Palestine Library on Thursday, December 15 at 2:00 PM to play Christmas music on the ukulele. Members of the Steel Valley Ukers are from Columbiana and Mahoning counties. All ages are welcome to attend.
Friends of the Library are hosting a Gingerbread Community Display and Contest at the Library as a part of the Snowflake Festival on Saturday, December 3, 2022.
Participants are asked to build gingerbread businesses made from gingerbread, cookies, crackers, or cardboard (builders' choice). Original designs, no kits. Completed projects are due at the library for display on Wednesday, November 30 from 9:00 AM to noon. Four winners will be chosen including a People’s Choice winner.
