Music in the Library

Throughout December, live music will be presented in the library.

On Monday, December 5 at 6:00 PM, guitarist Tyler Guerrieri will perform instrumental classic Christmas music.  All ages are welcome to attend.

The Steel Valley Ukers return to East Palestine Library on Thursday, December 15 at 2:00 PM to play Christmas music on the ukulele.  Members of the Steel Valley Ukers are from Columbiana and Mahoning counties.  All ages are welcome to attend.

Gingerbread Community Display and Contest

Friends of the Library are hosting a Gingerbread Community Display and Contest at the Library as a part of the Snowflake Festival on Saturday, December 3, 2022.

Participants are asked to build gingerbread businesses made from gingerbread, cookies, crackers, or cardboard (builders' choice). Original designs, no kits. Completed projects are due at the library for display on Wednesday, November 30 from 9:00 AM to noon. Four winners will be chosen including a People’s Choice winner.

Storytime at the Library

Storytime at the Library for Fall 2022

Movers & Shakers- Children ages 2 years old and older are welcome to attend a program of music, movement, and stories. Programs are offered on Mondays at 11:00 AM from August 29 to December 12.

Budding Bookworms- Stories, songs, games, and fun for preschool children on Tuesdays at 2:00 PM and Wednesdays at 10:00 AM.  Weekly programs begin Tuesday, August 30, and end Wednesday, December 14.

 

Board Games are Now Available

Board Games are now available at the East Palestine Library. Games can be borrowed for two weeks with your library card. Games for all ages are available.

Book Clubs at the Library

Children's Book Clubs

Graphic Novel Book Club will meet on Wednesday, June 29 at 2:00 PM to discuss The InvestiGATORS by John Patrick Green. Books are available at the library.

Chapters Book Club will be offered on Monday, July 11 at 2:00 PM. Ninja Kid by Anh Do will be discussed. Copies of the book will be available at the library.

Young Adult Book Club

Acrylic Painting with Cassie

This event registration is now closed. Please contact the library at 330-426-3778 if you wish to attend future art classes.

 

On Mondays in June, Cassie Holsopple will present an acrylic painting class for adults.  Registration is required to attend this program series.  Supplies will be available at the classes. A supply list will also be available for participants who wish to purchase their own supplies.
