Children who registered for Kindergarten at East Palestine Elementary School were given a summer reading list. The books on the list are now on display in the children's area of the library, and are marked with green tape on the book spine. Stop in to check out some of the wonderful stories before the new school year.
People of all ages are invited to participate in the 2017 Reading Program titled, "Build a Better World," and can register to participate in the program at the library. The program continues until Wednesday, August 2.
Library patrons of the East Palestine Memorial Public Library can now borrow a family admission pass to the OH WOW! The Roger & Gloria Jones Center for Science and Technology located in Downtown Youngstown with their library card. The family admission pass is good for four admissions to the museum, and can be borrowed from the East Palestine Library for seven days.
