Any child age birth to Kindergarten is welcome to participate in this reading program. Sign up at the library to receive your reading log to start tracking your progress. Every book you share with your child counts: books from home, books from the library, books shared at storytime.

Choose from a vast video library of engaging, top-quality courses, taught by recognized industry experts. Topics range from brand-new technology, business and creative skills. This database is available to anyone with a current Ohio library card. The videos can be streamed on any device.

The monthly list of new book purchases for September is now available. Since the items on the lists are new, the books listed have not yet arrived at the library. You can call the library to reserve the titles you wish to put on hold or email the library at eplibmail@yahoo.com with your reserve list.

STEAM resources highlighting science, technology, engineering, art, and math for all ages are available with Hoopla. Audiobooks, ebooks, videos, comics, and music are available. The highlighted materials can be viewed here:

Appointments for the Mercy Health Dental Van are now being accepted for Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Call the library at 330-426-3778 for appointment availability.

On Saturday, June 20 from 10:00 a.m. to noon, East Palestine Memorial Public Library will host a free paper shredding event. Following no-contact procedures, place your items to be shred in your trunk or in the back of your vehicle.

The East Palestine Memorial Public Library will reopen the library building to the public on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. For the time being, library hours will be Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Special thanks to all who participated in the 2020 Summer Program. If you missed a virtual program this summer, links to view the programs are available below. Take-home kits with craft activities and more are still available while supplies last. We also have brag tags available for children who participated in the Summer Program while supplies last. These brag tags are a great way to commemorate the Summer Program.

We regret the Friends of the Library's Annual Silent Auction and Book Sale held each June is cancelled for 2020. Donations for the Book Sale are not being accepted at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
