Registration
A child must be 5 years old to receive a library card. A parent or guardian must be present when the child gets a card, and needs to show identification. For an adult card, a person must be 18 years or older. For any adult application, a picture identification as well as proof of current address must be shown. Out-of-state borrowers will be charged $10.00 for a library card. This fee will be charged each year when the card is renewed. For all borrowers, there is a charge of $1.00 for a replacement card. Three items can be checked out the first time on a new card. Be sure to let us know when you move or change phone numbers.

Books, magazines, and music CDs may be renewed twice, as long as the item does not have a reserve on it. DVDs, videos, video games, audiobooks, interlibrary loan materials, and Playaways can be renewed once, as long as they are not overdue. Phone renewals are encouraged. Patrons may also renew items not overdue by visiting the library's online catalog. Except for the most recent issue, most magazines circulate.
Reserves
Patrons may reserve items on the library's online catalog, by phone, or at the Circulation desk. DVDs, videos, and seven day Swift Fiction titles cannot be reserved.
Bookdrop
There is a bookdrop in the alley on the south side of the building. If you have to return audiovisual materials in the bookdrop, please put them in a bag first.
Overdue Materials
Borrowers are responsible for all library materials loaned to them. Fines are as follows:
Books, magazines, audiobooks, music CDs, and Playaways | .05/day/item |

Borrowing privileges are suspended until records are cleared. No refunds will be given for lost / damaged materials or overdue fines after they have been paid. When an interlibrary loan book is requested, and is not picked up within five days of phone notification, there is a $3.00 fine which must be paid.
