Reading Camp at East Palestine Park

Every Hero Has a Story flyerA community-wide reading camp for children entering Kindergarten to 5th grade will be held at the East Palestine Park Community Center from Monday, July 17 to Friday, July 21 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. each day.  The program, titled “Every Hero Has a Story,” is offered by East Palestine Elementary and PTO and will consist of reading, activities, crafts, prizes, and more.   Middle School and High School students are welcome to participate in the program as youth volunteers.   Registration forms are now available at the East Palestine Memorial Public Library.  Participants are asked to take completed registration forms to the park on the first day of the program.   Children who participate in the reading camp will also received credit in the East Palestine Memorial Public Library’s Summer Reading Program.
