On Saturday, June 20 from 10:00 a.m. to noon, East Palestine Memorial Public Library will host a free paper shredding event. Following no-contact procedures, place your items to be shred in your trunk or in the back of your vehicle. Enter the library's parking lot on Walnut Street, drive-up and open your trunk, and the items to be shred will be retrieved and the trunk closed. If you wish, you may pull forward and watch your items being shred. Protect-N-Shred of Cortland, Ohio will provide the service. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
-Participants may bring up to five standard boxes or five trash bags
of personal documents to be shredded on site.
-Paper clips and staples do not need to be removed from your
documents. No binder clips.
-Paper only- no cardboard, no newspapers, no magazines, no phone
books, and no plastic, such as three-ring binders.
