Free Paper Shredding Event

On Saturday, September 11 from 10:00 AM to Noon, the East Palestine Memorial Public Library will host a free paper shredding event.  Following no-contact procedures, place your items to be shred in your trunk or the back of your vehicle.  Drive-up in the library's parking lot, and we will retrieve the items to be shred and close your trunk.

Protect-N-Shred of Cortland, Ohio will perform the service.

Generation Rx

Audrey Dimmerling, OSU Extension Educator, will present the Generation Rx program on Thursday, September 9 at 6:00 PM.  Participants at this in-person program will learn safe medication practices and risks of medication misuse.  The program is made available from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and the Cardinal Health Foundation.

Due to the high rate of Covid transmission in Columbiana County, masks are needed to enter the library.

Mobile Hotspot Lending Program

Mobile Hotspot Lending Program allows you to check out a WiFi hotspot to connect to the internet from almost anywhere.  A hotspot is a small wireless access point providing internet access to mobile devices such as your laptop, smartphone, or tablet.  Hotspots are portable, so you can connect your device to the internet almost anywhere you are, at home, at the park, and more. The hotspot device works in any area covered by the T-Mobile network.
