Thank you to all who participated in the 2019 Summer Program at the East Palestine Memorial Public Library. Special thanks to those who made a donation or donated their time to make this year's program a success!
East Palestine Library Receives Books from Brownstone Book Fund
East Palestine Memorial Public Library has received a gift of 100 new children’s books, ranging from pre-kindergarten through early readers. These books were a donation from the Brownstone Book Fund, a private foundation in New York City, interested in fostering early reading, a love of books, and encouraging parents and children to read together.
Weekly Storytime at East Palestine Memorial Public Library
Movers & Shakers, a storytime for toddlers ages 2 to 3 years old and their parents or caregivers is offered on Mondays at 11:00 a.m. at the East Palestine Memorial Public Library. Weekly programs continue until Monday, May 13, 2019.
Countdown to Christmas Reading Program
From Saturday, December 1 to Saturday, December 29, children ages infant to age 12 can participate in a Christmas reading program. Children who read 12 library books or have these books read to them can earn a prize. Limit one prize per participant. Complete details are available at the library.
Tech Talk Tuesday- Tuesday, November 13 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Three technology programs will be presented by SEO (Serving Every Ohioan) at the East Palestine Memorial Public Library on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Participants are welcome to attend one session or all three. Refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library will be served between programs. Registration is necessary.

Online Courses available for cardholders
Users with a valid library card now have access to thousands of online courses. Lynda.com has over 12,000 self-guided courses to help people gain workforce skills.
ROKU Streaming Sticks are now available at the Library
The library is now circulating five ROKU Streaming Sticks for patrons who want to try streaming tv shows and movies to their televisions without cable. All you need is High Speed Internet and a television that accepts an HDMI plug.
The ROKU's circulate for one week with one renewal. They can be placed on reserve and cannot be renewed if another patron is waiting.
