East Palestine Library Guiding Ohio Online Training Position Available
The East Palestine Memorial Public Library has been awarded a grant to participate in the Guiding Ohio Online program which targets populations in rural Ohio and helps Ohioans develop skills needed to fully participate in the digital age. A trainer will be hired to assist library patrons through computer instruction, technology-focused community outreach, and one-on-one assistance. Guiding Ohio Online is supported with LSTA (Library Services and Technology Act) funds.
This part time position will begin October 1, 2021 and end on June 30, 2022. The person hired to fill this position will be hired as an independent contractor working 980 hours and will receive a wage of $13.00 per hour. Strong computer and tutoring/teaching skills are required. Applicants must be over 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license. A background check is required.
